Natasha Cabral was born in the United States. The daughter of emigrants who decided to return to their homeland, the island of São Jorge in the Azores, when she was 5 years old.With a degree in health, she has been working in the world of São Jorge cheese for 13 years.

For the last 7 years, she has been working in Quality Management and Food Safety and was recently made a member of the Confraria do Queijo São Jorge, in recognition of her work on behalf of São Jorge Cheese.

Managing quality and food safety on the small island of São Jorge has been a great challenge because of the need to perfectly combine tradition and progress, but defending the rurality of the island and such a special product is one of her passions and she firmly believes that this rurality is crucial to the future of the island and of São Jorge Cheese.
