Inés Butrón

Professor at Culinary Institute Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain)

In her gastronomy blog, Atable: recipes and writings, and her media work and communications, Inés Butrón has made her passion her profession.

A teacher of language and literature, Inés Butrón had always been attracted to cookery, and so she eventually enrolled in the Hofmann School of Hospitality and Catering. Since then she has been a gastronomy consultant for communication media various, and has also worked as a gastronomy writer and communicator. 

She has written a number of books on culture, gastronomy and travel, practical recipes, essays, chronicles on administration of the rural milieu in Catalonia and the current problems of extensive livestock breeding, particularly from the female point of view. 

She also teaches on the Culinary Institute of Barcelona's Gastronomy Communication postgraduate course at the Abad Oliva University, on the master's course in Rice Dishes and Mediterranean Haute Cuisine at Universitat d’Alacant, the master's course in Management, Innovation and Gastronomic Culture at the University of Cádiz, and on the Master's in Gastronomic Sciences at Basque Culinary Center.
