Julie Lin is an award-winning chef, broadcaster, and author celebrated for her innovative fusion cuisine, which blends the flavours and traditions of her Malaysian-Scottish heritage. A regular BBC presenter and radio host, Julie first rose to prominence as a quarter-finalist on MasterChef UK and has since gone on to run two of Scotland’s most successful restaurants, Julie’s Kopitiam and GaGa. Her current venture, GaGa, is a multi-award-winning restaurant in Glasgow, renowned for its inventive Southeast Asian-inspired dishes.
Julie was recently honoured as a “Woman to Watch” at the prestigious Women of the Year Awards for her advocacy of women in kitchens and her work teaching children in local schools. Her culinary style celebrates bold flavours, fresh local produce, and cultural storytelling, establishing her as a leading figure in the UK food scene.
